Things to do near Alton, NH

March 2026 Edition

Alton Bay at sunrise.

Over the last week or so, we’ve watched ~2-3 feet of snow quickly turn to mud, revealing little buds throughout our gardens, and we’re starting to feel hopeful that spring may be upon us. As we have begun to make the post-winter rounds, fixing busted fence posts, collecting broken tree limbs, and putting our driveway back where it belongs (dirt driveway friends - I know you get it), we can’t help but get excited for what’s to come. Between spring clean-up, starting seeds, pruning plants, prepping the gardens, and getting ready for another beautiful wedding season, we also can’t wait to enjoy some of the local events that springtime brings!

We’ve curated a list of fun activities near us for the rest of this month. Stay tuned to our blog and social media to find out what’s going on in April & May next!
