Olivia & Nathan’s Beautifully Rustic New Hampshire Wedding

Celebrating Love in the Lakes Region

August 2024 saw a stunning celebration of love at Lakes Region wedding venue, Cold Spring Farm. The modern yet rustic barn venue nestled among Alton Bay’s scenic mountains provided the perfect backdrop for a wedding filled with undeniable love, warmth, joy, and some truly unforgettable moments.

Olivia & Nathan’s love story began on a bar crawl, where they were introduced through mutual friends. Sparks flew, and their connection deepened over time. Their love story reached new heights when Nathan proposed at the summit of Pine Mountain Trail, one of their favorite hiking spots in New Hampshire. The Pine Mountain Trailhead is located just a couple of minutes down the street from Cold Spring Farm. These mountains in Alton, NH, held a special significance that only grew with their engagement.

Choosing the right wedding venue is an important step in the wedding planning process. The couple chose Cold Spring Farm because they appreciated that it is a small, family-owned and operated business where they felt instantly comfortable and cared for. The modern, yet rustic charm of the farm, with its upscale barn and stunning views, perfectly complemented their vision for a relaxed and intimate celebration amidst the mountains that hold so much meaning for them.

For the bride, Olivia, one moment stood out above all others when her closest friends joined her in the bridal suite immediately after the ceremony. The laughter, hugs, and shared excitement created a memory she will cherish forever. These moments of friendship, love, and support make us feel so grateful to be a small part of days like this one.

The newlyweds also shared some advice and words of support with us to pass along to future couples planning their weddings.

-        Do a first look - Oliva and Nathan have described this as a “game changer.” The first look provided the opportunity to get many of their portraits done early, allowing them the freedom to mingle and enjoy the time they had with their guests during cocktail hour.

-       Don’t Stress - “Don’t stress, Sarah (CSF venue Event Manager) will take care of everything, and it will be perfect.” – Olivia (Bride)

-       Remember the meaning - “The day is about love.” – Olivia (Bride). At the end of the day, the wedding is about celebrating your love and commitment to each other. Focus on that, and everything else will fall into place. (Especially if you have a great wedding coordinator and an awesome team of vendors.)

This August wedding at Cold Spring Farm was the perfect blend of rustic charm and heartfelt moments. From their first meeting among friends to romantic hikes, to exchanging vows surrounded by loved ones, this couple’s journey was a true celebration of lasting love. With the beauty of the Lakes Region mountains as their backdrop, they created memories that will last a lifetime for everyone lucky enough to have been part of it.

We are so grateful for every single couple who trusts us with their wedding day. However, we are only one part of the team that brings the vision to life! Every successful wedding day has a team of wedding vendors quietly and efficiently running the show, making sure everything goes to plan. The dream team for this wedding includes some of our favorites to work with!
