Kara and Kyle met at Stonehill College in the later months of 2017. Kara was a dancer on the Stonehill College Dance Team and they hosted a talent show. Kyle saw the opportunity to make $100 by entering the competition and singing a country song on stage. Spoiler Alert: He did not win the talent show, but he won the heart of a beautiful dancer named Kara. They’ve been together ever since!

Kyle and Kara got engaged when they were on vacation with Kyle’s family on Cape Cod in 2022. They visited the Wildlife Preserve in Chatham because Kara loves the beach. Kyle had the ring in his pocket all day, hoping she wouldn’t notice. Kyle asked his sister to take a photo of him and Kara. As Kara began to pose, Kyle dropped to one knee. She said yes, and they celebrated over a lovely dinner.

“Our favorite moment, besides seeing each other at the alter, was frolicking with the horses in the evening fog. It was a picturesque , carefree moment!”

“We live in Massachusetts but were able to plan our New Hampshire wedding with ease. The barn layout was perfect for dinner and formal events upstairs, with the party/dance floor downstairs. We have always had a love for music in our lives from Kara being a dancer and Kyle a country singer, we incorporated it into our reception with a choreographed dance routine and a couple of performances from Kyle and his sisters upstairs, before transitioning to the open dance floor downstairs. Although it rained a lot during the Summer/Fall of our wedding, the weather ended up rolling in a cinematic fog — proving that the property is stunning no matter the season, rain or shine!”
